Wednesdays @ 6-8:30pm, February 18th - March 25th Join the renowned sculptor GV Kelley in this immersive animal sculpture class, where artistry meets technique in the world of three-dimensional creation. In this intermediate-level ceramic sculpture class, students will gain experience with various hand-building techniques while creating an original wall-hanging animal head sculpture. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from GV Kelley and elevate your sculptural practice! Week 1: Introductions, demonstrations, brainstorming, and getting started on sculpture. Week 2: Final planning discussion, sculpting demonstration, individual check-ins. Week 3: Detail demos and discussions, student work day. Week 4: Surfacing demos, discussion of methods of wall hanging. Week 5: Final sculpting day, glaze demos and slide show. Week 6: Glaze Day/Potluck!
