Intro WW: Picture Frames (S8)

Service Description

In this 6 week introductory course, students will learn the fundamentals of woodworking and joinery all while making custom picture frames from rough lumber. Students will set custom dimensions, cut the joinery, finish the frames, and mount pieces. This class requires no previous woodworking experience and all materials are included. SKILLS TAUGHT Cutting rough lumber on the compound miter saw Planing lumber on the planer Jointing lumber on the jointer Ripping lumber on the table saw Cross cutting lumber on the table saw Using the router table ATTENDANCE / MAKE-UP POLICY During this class, students will have access to the shop during class time only. In the event of an absence, students can make up their work during one of our office hours.
