Wednesdays 6:30-9pm, April 1st - May 6th Six weeks of clay instruction designed for beginner (little to no experience) potters who would like to learn the basics of handbuilding. Students will explore pinch, coil, and slab techniques to create functional and sculptural wares including cups, mugs, bowls, plates, figures, and more! Week 1: Pinch Pots and Coil Construction Week 2: Coiled vase Week 3: Slab building with templates Week 4: Slab-building using slump molds, and Glazing Week 5: Surface Design Techniques Week 6: Glaze Party All-inclusive including: - 25lbs of clay -6-weeks of 2.5 hours of instruction - Unlimited use of studio during open studio hours - Firing fees - Glazes
