Kintsugi Workshop With Jamie Westermeyer

Clay artists of all levels are invited to join San Francisco-based ceramicist Jamie Westermeyer for an evening of Kitsugi.  In this workshop, discover Jamie's version of Kintsugi, a Japanese decorative process in which you mend broken pottery. As she demonstrates her approach to working with broken ceramics, epoxy and shares the little tricks she’s learned along the way, you’ll learn from start to finish how to prep and mend ceramics. By the end of the workshop, you will have created your own Kintsugi- inspired pieces and learned valuable tips on how to incorporate this centuries-old technique into your own work.  

What to bring? Bring chipped cermaics, broken pieces of ceramics. All other supplies will be provided.
