Woodworking: Planning & Execution (S1)
7 Week Intermediate class
Service Description
In this 7-week course, you'll learn the essential steps of planning and executing a woodworking project from start to finish. We will guide you through the process of selecting the right wood for your project, calculating the necessary materials, and laying out plans for efficient and accurate construction. With personalized assistance from an experienced instructor, you'll apply these planning skills to a hands-on woodworking project that can be completed within the class timeframe. The project will be small to mid-sized, making it achievable within the time-frame. Students will learn the basic process of turning an idea into a finished project. Simple projects appropriate for this class include objects like: step-stool, key-locker, pizza paddle, or tool box. Please bring any ideas and pictures or drawings to the first class. Please send a preview email to the instructor Tudlik, tudlik@gmail.com, before the start of class. Please note that the cost of wood is not included, as each project requires different amounts. Students will be able to purchase wood based on their project's needs.
