Service Description
In this class, students will make a birch plywood record player stand using several different woodworking techniques and tools. Students will learn how to use the table saw and hand router as well as how to sand and finish their record player stand with danish oil. The scope of the class allows for students to make small modifications such as adjusting the height and width to fit their record player equipment and routing the edges for a softer look. No previous woodworking experience is needed, and all materials are included. This class will focus on the specifics of working with plywood as well as cutting half-lap joints with a hand router.
