Service Description

Thursdays 6-8:30 pm, September 24 - October 29 In this six week long course we will explore the realm of kitschy kitchenware! Projects include butter dishes, garlic keepers, spoon rests, salt pigs, candlesticks, and salt and pepper shakers! The principal goal for this course is to build students' confidence in creating functional objects for their kitchen. Students will additionally have the unique opportunity to use their Kitchenware in Week 6! Week 1: Garlic Keepers and Salt Pigs (Salt Cellars) Week 2: Butter Dishes & Sculptural Candlesticks Week 3: Big Fruit Bowls and Salt & Pepper Shakers Week 4 :Finishing Fruit bowls, Spoons & Spoon rests Week 5: Underglazing and Finishing Projects Week 6: Using our Kitschy Kitchenware & Glazing Extravaganza!
