3-week 6-session Beginner Woodturning Course Meets twice a week
Service Description
In this 6-session introductory class, students will learn topics such as spindle turning on the lathe to make a beautiful three-legged stool. No previous woodworking experience is necessary and all materials will be provided. This class will serve as an introductory course for both woodturning and furniture making, so students who take it can move on to more advanced courses in either topic. SKILLS REQUIRED None SKILLS TAUGHT Basic Lathe Operations Basic Spindle Turning Drill Press Mortise/Tenon Joinery Basic Glue Ups Orbital Sanders Wood Finishing Classes meet on Tuesday and Thursday nights for three weeks.
