A 4 week class exploring the basics of woodturning on the lathe. During this class, we will learn how to operate a wood lathe to create a beautiful wooden tray/stand. Students will have the opportunity to explore different shapes and create a stand that is truly theirs! Week 1: Safety, Lathe Basics, Tools, and Shapes. Week 2: Turning the top tray Week 3: Turning the base Week 4: Wrap Up/Finishing/Glue Up
