A 4 week class diving deep into the basics of spindle turning! Learn how to turn and come out with wonderful tools for your daily kitchen use. You will learn how to operate a wood lathe, create different shapes using various turning tools, and finish your piece to bring out the natural beauty of the wood. Week 1: Safety, Lathe Basics, Tools, and Shapes. Week 2: First Project: Small Rolling Pin Week 3: Second Project: Honey Dipper & Muddler/Pestle Week 4: Free Project/Wrap Up
