Intro to Furniture Making on the Lathe

Service Description

6-week class; Saturday's 10:30am; February 19th-March 26th Includes all materials, classes, finishes. In this class, we will cover topics such as milling and joinery as well as spindle turning on the lathe to make a beautiful stool/side table in this introductory woodworking class. Week 1: Intro to Spindle Turning Week 2: Turning 3 identical legs on the lathe with tendon Week 3: Milling and glue up Week 4: Hand Router for stools top and joinery cuts Week 5: Joinery and glues up Week 6: Sanding and finishing *Due to limited woodworking staff, there will be no open studio access for the woodshop
