Monday's @ 5:45 pm, September 25th-October 30th This version of Intermediate Clay explores ways to efficiently use large amounts of clay to make large pieces! It's recommended that you are eager to try throwing and centering with upwards of 5 pounds of clay. Week 1: Efficient centering and pulling with large amounts of clay Week 2: Stacking wet forms to make tall two-part pieces Week 3: Throwing wider than the wheel head: making platters Week 4: Coil throwing and class-requested techniques Week 5: Surface design techniques for large forms Week 6: Techniques for glazing large pieces that can't fit into a glaze bucket
