Hardwood Rings (S6)

Service Description

This intro class is a perfect place to expand your woodworking knowledge. By the end of this course, students will leave with a collection of finished wooden rings in multiple species — maple, rosewood, paduak, zebra wood, morado, and lacewood — made by their own hands. Along the way, students will build working knowledge of hardwood properties, hands-on experience milling stock and operating the drill press and jeweler's saw, and an understanding of finishing and abrasives sufficient to produce a durable, polished result.
