Service Description
In this class, students will learn fundamental strategies for designing furniture in wood. They will develop their own project designs throughout the course of the class, and learn design tools to help tackle issues of aesthetics and construction. Students will also be exposed to advanced woodworking concepts including advanced lamination, joinery, and finishing. Students should already have taken a beginner level furniture course, or have equivalent woodworking experience. This course will require drawing tools and a notebook. Students can purchase a basic drawing and modeling kit for an additional $50.
