Service Description

Furniture Design is an intermediate/advanced woodworking class that will teach students how to bring a design from concept to construction in the wood shop. Students will bring their own project ideas to the class and through the course of the class, develop those ideas into well-documented designs. Students should leave class with a solid plan of action to construct their design, including a cut list, a piece list, plans, and a sequence of operations. This class is targeted at students who have already taken a furniture class or the power tools class, as they will need to understand the basics of the power tools in the shop.
