Perfect for beginners and creatives of all skill levels, this class will guide you through the process of designing and completing a stunning mosaic-framed mirror using your handmade tiles. If you sign up for this class you will need to create your own tiles for the border of the mirror. Mayetta – the instructor – can help advise. Ideally the tiles will be 2”-4". There are some inspirational photos below. Day 1: Design & Assembly --Learn the basics of mosaic layout and adhesive techniques. -- Assemble and glue your pieces onto a 10” mirror Day 2: Grouting & Adding Bracket for Hanging --Learn proper grouting techniques to complete and seal your design. --Clean, polish, and finish your piece for a professional, lasting look. --Glue a bracket to the back for hanging on the wall. Leave with a beautiful, functional mirror that reflects your personal style! All materials are provided (mirror, bracket, grout). No experience necessary—just bring your creativity and tiles you want to use.
